GameRanger usually automatically detects the file location of the Steam version.ģ. Vegas 2 install location for Windows users is commonly 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rainbow Six Vegas 2\Binaries'. Make sure GameRanger knows where the game's R6Vegas2_Game.exe file is in the GameRanger settings. Verify integrity of Vegas 2's game cache because I've had installs missing a couple files sometimes with Vegas 2.Ģ. Now I know its not the simplest way to play R6V2 but GameRanger does work and is easy to use once setup. This might work for R6V1 as well but haven't tried yet. I've recently started playing R6V2 again via GameRanger.
