Along the way, they encountered a wandering mask salesman who revealed the truth behind Skull Kid’s power – he was wearing Majora’s Mask, an ancient talisman used for dark magic. Luck was on Link’s side, however, as Tatl soon joined forces with him, vowing to help him break the curse and return to his human form.
With a flick of his wrist, Skull Kid transformed Link into a tiny, plant-like creature known as a Deku Scrub and absconded with both his horse and magical ocarina. But his journey was interrupted by Skull Kid, an impish trickster donning a cursed mask, accompanied by the mischievous fairies Tael and Tatl. With his heroic mission accomplished and the land of Hyrule safe once more, Link saddled up on his trusty steed, Epona, and set out into the wild unknown. The revamp was universally acclaimed, with critics noting its exhilarating gameplay, enriched graphics, and thoughtful quality-of-life enhancements.
This game wasn’t an ordinary release it was a meticulously enhanced remaster of the 2000 original that graced the Nintendo 64. In 2015, Nintendo, in collaboration with Grezzo, unveiled The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D-an intricate action-adventure game, specifically designed for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming console.
